An Age, An Instant

Gate and cladding in bronze and Portland stone

The New Burlington Mews gate is based on a pocket watch movement from the Edwardian period, when Regent Street was designed. The gate references the heritage of the area which was a hub for clock makers at the turn of the century. This work offers a link to the past through a contemporary expression of mechanical time keeping.
